Spring Gardening with Harvey Cotton - Lecture

Join the Sierra Club at their quarterly meeting where Mr. Cotton will provide information on such topics as: proper planting, soil amending, fertilization, right place/right time, native and invasive plants.

Mr. Cotton has been the Chief Operation Officer for the Huntsville Botanical Gardens for the past 16 years; serves as Director Emeritus of the Alabama Nurserymen's Assn; is on the board of Horticulture Research Institute and the Alabama Invasive Plant Council; writes a weekly column for the Huntsville Times (Questions and Answers from the Garden); co-authored 'Easy Gardens for the South;' and is a weekly guest on Noonday News television show on the local ABC affiliate.

Please note the new location for meetings: National Children’s Advocacy Center (210 Pratt Avenue, Huntsville), Training Building (it’s in the back of the building farthest to the right: someone will be standing in the parking area).
