Hi Erica, welcome. I grew up in Barstow, CA. Lots of sand, but not because it was near the ocean. What games do you enjoy? This helps me to pick out the game mix for when you are able to join us. You can see from my meetup ratings that we get new people all the time. Like my wife & I, most people do not know how to play these "Euro" games when they first join us. But they are able to have fun with the games within 10 minutes.
