Introduction

Hi! My name is Debra and I enjoy being outdoors relaxing or being active.

What are your favorite outdoor activities?

My favorite outdoor activities include but are not limited to paddling, hiking with my dog, Tyler, and managing my yards.

Where is the coolest place you've been?

The coolest place I've been to is Anatartica (managing garbage).

What's the most adventurous thing you've done?

The most adventurous thing I've done is live on my 28' Westsail for 3 years.

Where is your favorite getaway spot?

My favorite getaway spot is rather large: I love motoring down Hwy 395 from Reno, NV to Death Valley, CA (i.e., Mount Lassen, Mono Lake, the east side of Yosemite, Bear Valley, ...) where I can find opportunities to paddle, hike, backpack, camp, ski, explore and relax (not to mention, get-away-from-it-all).

How did you hear about Outdoor Club South?

I'd been a member and organizer of Tennessee Valley Adventure since 2007. Outdoor South absorbed the club a few months ago and I came along with the package

  • If you are still active, please change the Tuesday night hike at Montesano to the city walk with meeting point at downtown, land trust parking lot. There are every week new members that drive up to Montesano for nothing because no one seems to bother and change the location. Thank you.
