Feeling rather alienated from nature and wanting to get back out even though most of the time it seems either too hot or too cold here in AL. Mostly too hot.
Hiking primarily. Fatigue issues limit me somewhat but 3-6 miles of easy to moderate is still possible. I also enjoy horseback riding and would like to try rafting.
Temperature wise? Cross country skiing in the woods of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Fantastic-wise, probably standing on the edge of the Line Creek Plateau south of Red Lodge, Montana and seeing forever.
The Subway in Zion is the most demanding hike I've ever been on--repelling (sort of), jumping into a waterfall, crawling along a crack.
Alas, I don't have one here and have limited time for getting away, which is why I haven't been to more meetups. Hoping to change that soon.
Here on meetup

Yeah, I'm looking forward to the photo meet. Thinking about dragging out the big lens.
I live an hour away... and will be here for the next 6 months to a year...
You are certainly welcome. Although I haven't been able to get many activities together yet. I'm interested in help if you'd like to be a co-leader. Thanks and welcome! I'm so glad you joined.
