Jazz Vespers: Big Band with Heather Bambrick (TD Toronto Jazz Festival)

Brian Barlow Big Band and special guest vocalist Heather Bambrick will be performing "The Sacred Music of Duke Ellington"

Enjoy Jazz Vespers at Christ Church Deer Park.

This afternoon service of music, a reflective reading, prayers for our city and the world, and a jazzy congregational hymn!

It is one of their most popular services - with wonderful music, and with some of the finest jazz artists in Canada

Service begins at 4:30 p.m.

Please be at the church by 4:00 p.m.

We typically sit at the front on the left hand side of the church

There is no admission charge, but donations to support the program will be collected.

TML went to this event two summers ago, and it was a wonderful afternoon of music. A great opportunity for those who missed out last time.

The church does get full for this event, so come early to find a seat.

About the performers:

IF the weather is nice I will be waiting on the front steps to the church between 4 and 4:20. IF it is raining, I will be waiting just inside the church past the lobby at the front steps
