Sultans of String - Jazz @ Hart House

Over the past 6 years TML has had the delight to attend many concerts by Sultans of String (www.sultansofstring.com)

The group plays music that is a blend of django jazz, flamenco, arabic, celtic and cuban - and that's just to start :)

They have been on tour for the past year but will be dropping into Toronto for a quick visit, and are putting on a FREE concert at Hart House, in the Great Hall (main floor)

Performance: 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

This is sure to be a standing-room-only event so get there by 2:15 p.m. to find seats

I will be waiting at the door to the Hall between 2:15 and 2:30 to greet you

Hart House is located at the southwest corner of Hoskins & Queens Park - you can get directions on how to get there by TTC or car go to: http://harthouse.ca/maps-directions/

band was fantastic! great guest musicians and singers added to the mix. special bonus - we were treated to 3 numbers by a flamenco/belly dancer too! it was nice to be back at the Great Hall, seating set up for the afternoon was intimate and it was a "SOLD OUT" performance - such a treat for a chilly sunday afternoon, and all of it for FREE :)
