Robert Mackenzie has competed twice in the World Championship of Public Speaking and won Second place - an extremely difficult feat given the year-long competition among an initial field of 30,000 competitors.
As special guest speaker for Speakers By the Sea's Open House, Robert will share speaking tools to coach speakers-in-training. Robert’s masterful understanding of stage technique, physical awareness and vocal ability offers specific tips and tools to embolden both the fledging speaker and seasoned veteran to unleash one’s unique potential to effectively communicate. Robert’s presentation on Wednesday, March 27 at 11am will provide the audience with key elements required in delivering a quality speech. Come join us for an entertaining and enlightening session and learn how Toastmasters can help YOU to become a better public speaker.
Mr. MacKenzie is featured in the documentary film Speak, produced by Venice, CA, filmmakers Paul Galichia and Brian Weidling, chronicling the trials and triumphs of a group of people who joined Toastmasters to overcome their fear of public speaking and found themselves competing for the World Championship in 2008.
