(Free) Farm Shower and CORE Permaculture Meetup- Lakeside

This is a Farm Shower (like a Baby Shower, only more farm-like and less diapery). Bring gifts, well wishes, and positive thoughts while witnessing the birth of a farm that will shape our plates!

Our free CORE meetups try bringing together the movers and shakers of Permaculture in the County.

We are so excited to put Closing the Loop Farm in the... permaculture Loop!

New amazing sites are growing like...mushrooms these days in San Diego.

Come celebrate with us and tour the next permaculture farm and mushroom operation in Lakeside, currently being built from the grounds up.

Please bring ORGANIC seeds and ORGANIC produce you would like to exchange with others. Please bring 1-2 ORGANIC fruits already washed/cut for putting it into a fruit salad we will share during our paper-airplanes session, and a container/fork for yourself to eat your fruit salad in. If you have it within yourself to celebrate our Farm Shower, please bring a couple of bucks or anything that you think a farm would really want to have to cuddle it to sleep.

Our Permaculture Core meetings are open to everyone, and will be followed by a leadership meeting where we throw around paper airplanes and discuss everything related to San Diego permaculture, including future convergences and other amazing things.

The free meetup will be followed by a paid event at 4:00PM for Mushroom Growing and Risotto Cooking. Stay over for dinner under the stars and more learning. All dinner tickets must be purchased online at least 3 days before the event. (We need to know how much risotto to make). Get your dinner/mushroom workshop ticket now at http://www.risotto.eventbrite.com. Price will go up if you wait.

Come Grow (and eat) Permaculture with Us!

Chris from Closing the Loop farm, showing off his mushroom growing skills.

A friends dog is lost and I'm going to try and help find him. I saw your farm on my drive home. Happy farming and I'll see you at the mushroom thing.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
