CA Rare Fruit Growers San Diego (CRFGSD) : Winter Tree Care [San Diego]

This is the meeting of the Rare Fruit Growers of San Diego. The meetings are open to the public, but it is only $ 13 for a whole year to become a member of the local chapter. Not all members are dedicated to organic practices, but many are and much of the information you can learn here applies to all growing techniques.

November Meeting: Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the CRFG meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 19th, in Room 101. Please notice the change of day, this meeting will not be on a Wednesday, our usual meeting day. The subject of the November meeting will be winter tree care, includes excellent information about pruning, fertilizing, and dormant spraying.

Members who bring snacks and their own utensils enjoy front of the line privileges, so don't forget to bring your own eating utensils. Lets cut down on the waste we generate.

Thank you, Marianne, for the information about duration of the meeting. I was getting ready to leave my earlier meeting, when my wife called to let me know one of her car's headlights had fallen out of it's position on the car. I had to make emergency repairs instead of coming to meet the rest of this group. Looking forward to next time, but this topic was of particular interest to me--so a real disappointment to miss.

I will probably be tied up until 8:30 or 9 p.m. Is that too late to bother coming out? Ending time is quoted as 10 p.m., but do people usually stay that late?

People stay usually until 10, but the presentation will be over latest by 9:15

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
