Join us as we talk about proper harvesting of your crops and what to do with them. We'll go over basic herbal infusions, water bath canning, pickling and fermenting. There will of course be samples on hand to taste from! Since my kitchen in on the small side I must limit the class number, but if there is a big enough waitlist I will repeat the class. We do want this class to be open to all and will offer it as a "pay what you can" class, but please be aware that there are expenses with this project. Jars of what we make will be available for sale as well at the end of the class
Meet your instructor;
Michelle received her bachelor's in Landscape Architecture from Washington State University. She now works as a landscape designer with emphasis in native landscapes, edibles, Permaculture design and educating the public in sustainable design. Her company Edge + Element Design focuses on getting the most out of spaces, uses sustainable materials and making the world a better place.
