Wow! What a great garden. I uploaded some pictures but you really do need to visit to appreciate. Some of us also went to Farmers Market and met some of the growers selling their produce.

Great meetup. It would be really cool to visit gardens from members of the group to get ideas and out faces with their talents. Mine is a mess right now since i have waning plants and going into the winter mode.

I also would love to do that. I have been encouraging people to post meet ups to see their gardens - so far no takers. Hope it will happen soon and we keep talking about it at meetings.

It was wonderful. Sharon Kennedy from IRC shared basic information about the garden and IRC. The tour was of the entire garden and many unusual and foreign plants were discovered. Besides our meet-up group, there were approximately 6 other visitors from the general public. We were given maps to go to the City Heights Farmer's Market which a lot of us went to on an informal basis.

I am bringing three people. I know it said only two people as guests but one of my guests has cancer and needs assistance from her child. She may not stay for the whole tour but is very excited to see the gardens since she lives 5 minutes away, gardens for her health, and always wanted to see the gardens.

We have been instructed to park on the farm side of 54th Street. Wear comfortable shoes, wear a hat and bring water. Let's meet close to the entrance. See you on Saturday.

I am waiting to hear from Sharon Kennedy who is the co-ordinator from IRC. She will tell us where to park and meet for the tour. I have wanted to go to this garden ever since Michelle Obama went there a few years ago. Will get the word out as soon as she tells me. See you Saturday.
