What is your favorite food you want to grow?

Watermelons and cantaloup in the summer.

Are you an experienced organic gardener or a beginner?

Intermediate I'd say - I have about 20 fruit trees and 2 nut trees growing in my upper backyard at my place in Spring Valley and some veggies and herbs growing.

What club activities are you interested in? Lectures? Hands on projects? Garden days? Or?

I'd like to learn how to prune fruit trees, build green structures, learn how to build solar panels and windmills for free energy, when to pick herbs for medicine making, organic pesticide making, water and food storage and how to set up a watering system and/or drip irrigation.

Do you have a space to garden? Or are you looking to find one? Or do you want to find somebody to garden for and/or with you?

I could use some help in my fruit orchard since I still have to work full time and am not retired yet but sure am looking forward to it so I can have more time to do all this fun stuff! I have lots of space on a hill side to have more gardening room but it has to be terraced off. I'd like to learn how to build a straw bale house or something similar up on my hill side for a retreat area.

Which area/city do you live in?

Spring Valley

Introduction

I'd like to join this group but only have Sundays available so I hope you'll have some meet-ups or workshops then! Looking forward to meeting all of you and sharing knowledge. I'd like to become as independent as possible. Green Blessings....Kay
