3.5-Mile Nature Hike, Birding & Dog Walk on Seabrook Trails (multi-meetup)

Migratory bird season is in full swing! Let's go walking on the Seabrook Birding Trails/Pine Gully Nature Trails! This is a beautiful scenic walk. Bring your camera! Slower walkers can check out the wildlife and take photos while faster walkers can go on ahead. I'll bring maps in case you want to walk on ahead of the group.

Where to meet:

Meet in the parking lot. Amanda will wear a baseball cap and will be walking a friendly reddish-brown medium-sized dog. Cellphone # is[masked]-9160. I drive a silver Honda Civic hybrid.

About the walk:
We are going to walk along the Seabrook trails towards Pine Gully Park. At Pine Gully Park, we will take a rest and refreshment break and then turn around and walk back. If you don't want to walk all the way to Pine Gully Park, you can turn around at any time.

There are restrooms at Robinson Park and Pine Gully Park.

There is a doggie water fountain at Robinson Park and a faucet at Pine Gully Park.

What to bring:
Drinking water
Snacks
Mosquito repellent
Sunscreen and a hat if it is sunny
weather-appropriate clothing
Your camera and binoculars
Your leashed dog, if you have one
Friends and family who enjoy walking

Birds and birdwatching:
If you have any interest in birds and birdwatching (or in photography), Seabrook is listed as an official bird migration route and is a favorite of birdwatchers. Everyone was nice and supportive. The three dogs got along well and I enjoyed seeing the one dog play in the water. It was fun meeting people that I had never met before. I love people.

Thanks AManda, Oreo and I had a great time. As a matter of fact, we stoped at Petsmart and bought him a backpack and a bowl. We are ready to go hiking. You inspired me.

Sorry, didn't mean to RSVP - my smartphone screen is super sensitive. Sounds like fun, though. Enjoy!

That's a shame. You'll be missing a great walk in a really beautiful location. This is one of the prettiest trails in the entire Houston metro area, in my opinion.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
