Sunday Sunrise Siltstone

Run the best trail (IMHO) within 100 miles, as the new sun dapples thru the leaves. Out-and-back, total 13+ miles. But each runner runs his/her own pace, and turns at a given time, based on the fastest runners' expected arrival at the Scott's Gap turnaround. That way, we all get back around the same time. And getting DQ'd after is one of the best things about the Siltstone - love that Blizzard! Meet at the JMF Welcome Center.

This Sunday [masked]), we will reverse the direction, starting at the parking lot on Scotts Gap Road. There is a large group of hikers (and some runners) meeting at the welcome center at 7:45 so that parking area may be full. It will be a treat anyway to to run the trail in the opposite direction.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
