The Nature Preserve is right by my house, so I usually run it and Creason two to three times a week because it's convenient. I don't really have a favorite. That's why I want to meet more trail runners and visit more places!
Not long. I started last year, got overzealous and hurt myself. So I restarted sometime last fall after I felt recovered.
There isn't a most. I like how the mixture of terrain forces me to use my feet and legs differently. I like having a beautiful environment to keep my mind occupied and push me to see what's beyond the next curve or hill. I really like spotting wildlife (seeing a deer can double my intended run because I want to find more). It's also about what I dislike about concrete and blacktop. That stuff makes my calves ache in a way that feels annoying rather than satisfying.
I'm currently training for the Mini and then a full marathon in fall (haven't decided which yet). I'm definitely not fast (I average about 10mpm in short races), but I'm persistent. Currently, I'm looking to go farther for longer periods of time.
