If you know someone who is suffering or has battled with cancer we ask that you help us raise money for cancer research to benefit people & dogs. Donations can be made in memory or as a tribute to someone dear to you. At the days event there is a wall for anyone wanting to post a photo of their beloved animal’s lost to cancer as a way of remembrance and support.
This group is open for anyone wanting to do more with their dog regardless of breed, size or ability. There is a trail or event to cover a wide variety of interests. NEW 2013 Dog Training Classes held in Old Saybrook.
FREE Activities include:
HIKING Trail hikes occur on the CT Shoreline and up the CT River. Each hike varies in length, duration and ability which is outlined in the event description.
~We attend annual events such as the Durham Pet Fair and pair them with a hike.(either are optional) Your dog get's the exercise it needs which enables them to partake in other activities that provide added socialization.
~We walk as a team during fundraising dog walks that support foundations such as the Humane Society, a local shelter or Cancer Research.
~We sit in as spectators or participants at Pet Shows or dog sporting activities like frisbee, agility, obedience, training etc.
~We meet at the Dog Park for socialization and energy release; or our favorite swimming hole for a romp and a ball throw.
$5.00 annually to help defray the cost to register with meetup.com.

The Organizer is familiar with the trails it facilitates; Certified with the American Red Cross in Animal First Aid and CPR; Dog Bite Prevention Specialist (Doggone Safe); and a Professional Dog Trainer, APDT
~ Please have your dog wear their rabies tag to events.
