Web/Mobile Apps sig: Introduction To MVC with Chip Burris

ANOTHER UPDATE: Location has changed. We just got to big :)

Update: Due to a family Emergency it will just be the Chip show. Unless someone wants to jump up and help write code !

Lets do a dive into MVC. We will cover Controllers, Views, and the Model.  We cover the basics of the Razor engine and what makes it cool.

So if you are new to MVC come learn. If you know it, live it, breathe it, come help your fellow developers.

Bring your notebooks, hopefully have MVC 4 or 5 installed. What we learn here will be the foundation for moving forward into building a responsive mobile web application

Thanks for the presentation , liked it and motivated. Came to know about the most important fact that ASPx rendering engine is not like traditional webforms , which helped me in my Job.

Is this presentation about MVC and mobile or just MVC in general?

    May 7, 2014

    • Chip B.

its just about MVC. But what we start is going to be the foundation for creating a web app that has a mobile component

I don't have a laptop and am quite new at MVC, but we started using it recently on a project at work. To me the subject is both enigmatic and intimidating. Will I still be able to participate and understand the discussion?
