Mini Presentation: Understanding Misalignments in Software Development
This is a short (15 min) session which explores six misalignments that have been observed within organizations that put the work we do in traditional software dev projects at odds with how we do it. The resulting frictions between people and process accumulate to put a drag on our productivity, morale and purpose in what we do. The intent of this session is to engage attendees in a brief thought-exercise on this to gauge their perceptions of these misalignments and the small behavioural and process changes that can bring about relief (aka agile/iterative/lean).
Presented by Chris Chapman
