On the last Wednesday of the Month, we invite you to enjoy a walk around Ferril Lake in City Park, and then go to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science (DMNS) planetarium's FREE "60 Minutes in Space" presentation.
Meet Fran and Richard at the Bear Statue on the NW corner of the DMNS, facing the mountains to the west, The DMNS parking lot and bike racks are are about 50 feet away from this statue. The DMNS after-hours entrance is usually open on the west side's glass walled-entrance, except during special events. Whenever this entrance is closed, enter through the guard station's door just east of the main entrance doors on the north side of the DMNS facing the parking lot.
Our one-mile walk around Ferril Lake begins at 5:30 PM. If you'd like to meet us in the planetarium, Richard and Fran usually sit up front in the 2nd row. If you have any problem finding us, you can send a text message to Fran's cell phone at[masked]-5182.
This walk is an open-topic walk. If you'd like to introduce a topic in our monthly online walk description, please call this Open-Topic walk's co-host Fran Rew at (303)[masked], and/or send her an email.
