Fran Rew and Richard Rew co-founded this group in 2008, initially posting and hosting walks primarily in the Denver metro area's urban parks. Members are encouraged to post and host their own walking conversations.
In 2013, thanks to TTWalks' member and Assistant Organizer Winston Walker, TTWalks took on a wonderful new look on our calendar of events. Winston, who is also the founder of the Beckwourth Doers Meetup group, posts and hosts collaborative adventurous and exciting walking conversation events frequently beyond the Denver metro area.
Also, in 2013, TTWalks began a collaborative In-Kind Sponsorship to support DANCE WALKING as a collaborative part of some of TTWalks’ calendar events, including TTWalks’ annual celebration on the 3rd Monday morning of January to celebrate our favorite examples of an Economics of Compassion in Denver’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Marade. Walks frequently include an event before, during or after such as a museum or restaurant visit.
