Please invite your friends and family to the event and share on Facebook.

Lawn chairs are allowed, just try not to block sidewalks or doorways. :)

Parking is available at the Capitol parking garage (we believe it is free on the weekend).

Please do not bring long guns or openly carry on the Capitol grounds, however if you have your CHL you are permitted to carry. CHL holders can carry inside the Capitol - in case you need to go inside for the facilities. - The Capitol Police have asked people to not bring their long guns to the event, there is another event on the South steps that day and we don't want to alarm anyone.

Signs are welcome, please remember to have positive, family friendly messages.

An excellent, well-attended (estimated at about 1,500) rally of the "liberty-minded" who listened respectfully (and enthusiastically) to a number of both moving and inspirational speeches. Attendees and speakers emphasized our collective determination to continue resisting the federal government's attempts to infringe on our Creator-endowed individual right to "keep and bear arms," as enumerated in the 2nd Amendment to the U. S. Constitution. To the Obamas, the Bidens, the Holders, the Feinsteins, and all of the other leftist sycophants, etc., in D.C. and elsewhere, we say "ABSOLUTELY NO" to any new gun and gun magazine restrictions until they can prove that violent criminals and the mentally deranged will abide new laws any better that they abide by all the restrictive laws currently on the books.

Let's fight these people at every opportunity. A Community Forum for Public Safety & Common Sense Firearm Regulations - 3:30 - 5:30 pm, Sunday January 27, 2013. Last Sunday Austin MoveOn Council was privileged to host a conversation with John Woods and Kristen Katz, leaders of the Students for Gun Free Schools in Texas. It was so informative - and inspiring - we want to expand that conversation in Austin this time with Mr. Woods, members of the Brady Campaign Chapter of Central Texas and other representatives who have worked on this issue in some cases for decades. Please invite your membership and colleagues to join us on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at 3:30 pm, at the AFL-CIO Auditorium, 11th & Lavaca, for presentations by these dedicated activists. We will also include a question and answer period Notice - we are not trying to re-invent the wheel - but educate ourselves and combine forces. You know there is going to be a lot of legislation around this issue in the upcoming session.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
