We are happy to announce the second workshop on Selenium Automation. The event will take place on 02th of June at ClujHub, in addition to our monthly event. During the 6 hours, we will be aiming to automate several tests for Mozilla web apps and learn the basics of webdriver automation.
The workshop will be facilitated by Alex Lakatos and Alin Triff, active members and contributors of Mozilla projects.
We are expecting participants that:
- are enthusiastic and willing to learn to create automated tests with Webdriver and Python
- have programming knowledge (at least basic level)
- have a working laptop and they can bring it there
As during the 6 hours we want to focus on test automation and not on setting up the environment, please make sure that you have all the setup described below installed and configured on your laptop
Firefox latest version http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
IDE (your own choise)
- If you don’t know what to chose, we recommend any of the 2 IDEs
Git client http://git-scm.com/downloads
The number of the participants is limited to 20 persons. Please make sure that you cancel your confirmation in case you can’t come. This way the people on the waiting list will be able to participate to the workshop.
