Tableau in Toronto Meetup Thursday, May 22, 2014
Northern District Branch - Toronto Public Library
40 Orchard View Blvd. (Near Yonge & Eglinton)
Room 224 abc (second floor)
7:00 - 9:00 pm
by Michel Boileau, Quality Assurance Data Analyst at Durham Children’s Aid Society:
"In April 2013 I was hired as a Data Analyst at Durham CAS. Having had some experience with Tableau at my previous employment, I knew this was the tool I wanted/needed to move this organization forward with their data analytics.
In this presentation, I will look back on the journey we took in the past year, touching on data quality, visualization, tool usage and involving the users. I will also touch on how I was able to transition from working in a private sector IT environment for 20+ years to the Government sector. Finally, I will provide my vision for what is planned for the next wave during my second year." ------------------------------------------
Following the presentation, there will be a group discussion on other organizations’ experiences, do’s and don’ts, and suggestions/ideas for continued success.
