There were few requests for information on balance of blood pH through alkalizing. As you can see from table of acidic/alkalizing foods most of our intake lies in acidic range. Since body must maintain the ph balance, it uses its innate intelligence to either spit the excess acidic stuff out through various excretory channels (through diseases when level is alarming) or it converts it into fat and stores. That's the basic principle behind modern day's "lose weight through pH balance". Follow 80%-20% alkaline/acidic food balance and make room for stored fats to normalize.
