Axis and Allies Game Day at Andrew's

  • Jul 5, 2013 · 10:00 AM

For those of you not working on July 5th here is an opportunity to play Axis and Allies all day. I am flexible on how we do this regarding time and game of choice though if we can get enough people who want to start early and play Global 1940 all day that is my preference. Right now here is what I am thinking:
10am start time and play till midnight
1940 Global

If people want we can do a later start time (noon?) and a different game (1941, AA50, Fortress America) or even games. So this can either be a day dedicated to Global 1940 or multiple games.

COME AND PLAY ALL DAY!!!

    Had a great time! Thank you to Jim, Tim and Garth for coming. We played till 2am to determine a winner and it was very fun playing and socializing. Looking forward to playing again!

    As far as the game goes the Allies were victorious on Turn 7 as Japan failed to take India, Italy was non-existent (collecting zero money) and Germany was battling UK for France and the Lowlands. Thank you for being my partner Garth and thank you for a fun and competitive game Tim and Jim.

    Germany and Italy = Tim
    Japan = Jim
    Russia, USA and China = Garth
    UK Europe, UK Pacific, ANZAC and France = Andrew

    Also what time would we be ending? Would I be an issue if I had to go between 4-5? And continue next time?

    Hi Jim. Yelm is about 70 minutes south of Renton, which is north of Tacoma and southeast of Seattle. I noticed your profile, and I can say we have a big group of GMT fans at Metro Seattle Gamers (favorites include Napoleonic Wars and Wellington) but the club is located in the heart of Seattle, and that's something of a long trek for you.

    Andrew, I'll pitch in on the pizza. I look forward to playing Global 1940!

    I live in yelm. Where is Renton in relation?

    BTW I will order Pizza during the day but bring your own drinks if you want something more than water.

    I'm up for Global 1940, and I can start at 10:00 or noon. Either way, I suspect we will need to play over two sessions.
