Introduction to Permaculture: Sustainable Design for Homes and Communities

Permaculture is the design of sustainable, and even regenerative, human habitat. It's an organizing framework for understanding how human choices, lifestyles, and site development can be in harmony with the natural world. This open talk will be held for the particularly for the Parkland community to learn more about permaculture, the reDesign House project, and events this summer that they can be involved in. Non-Parkland residents are still very welcome to attend!

Examples of permaculture will be given, as well as ideas for how Permaculture design can be applied in the Parkland community, in order to become a more sustainable and vibrant neighborhood.
