PUYALLUP JOB CLUB

The Puyallup Job Club used to be a networking group that met most months (except for December and June through August) where attendees (career seekers, business owners, and business professionals) met for 2 hours and Carly Calabrese, Career Coach/Business Marketer/Writer/Editor/LinkedIn Consultant would perform a different career or marketing presentation monthly. Attendees had a chance to practice their one minute commercials/elevator pitches and make any announcements to the group (i.e. contacts/companies that were hiring, small business owners promoting events in their business, & anything else that would be relevant & helpful to the group). Business cards and flyers were passed around the table, and Carly would pass out job leads, job resources, sometimes read a career or marketing related article, as well as share any volunteer and/or networking and/or seminars and/or self-development training opportunities that could better the attendees in their personal career or life.

Carly was part of the leadership team & then was the leadership team for the group for approximately 5 years in a volunteer capacity. Since Carly's been the sole leadership team for the group, she also shares her business events as she personally funds all 3 (counting this group) of her Meetup groups.
