Second Saturday of the Month Writers' Critique Meeting

*** Please note the new hours for the Saturday meetup! We'll meeting from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM  starting in March, 2013***

We're meeting at the 208 Garfield cafe/pub/wine bar (at Garfield Books), just off Pacific Ave. in the Parkland neighborhood. From I-5, take exit 127 to Hwy 512, then exit at Pacific Ave. Take a right at the top of the off-ramp. You can take a right turn onto Garfield St. - the Farelli's pizza on the corner is a good landmark - or take the next right to park in the lot.

Current members with work for critique should post it to the wiki no later than Wednesday evening (please try to limit submissions to around 20 pages, 12 pt. readable type, double-spaced. This is to help reduce the strain on fellow members' eyeballs & their pocketbooks).

*** Re: extra copies. If you are a writer with work for critique, bringing a extra copies for new members. .

    Question No. 1.
I live in Tacoma. I *think* the furthest anyone comes from the North is Federal Way and I'm not sure tat person is coming. People if anyone does live in Bev's vicinity, please try to help her out.

    Question No. 2
You will no have access to the Wiki until you have attended a meeting. Usually I just tell new people to send them to me and I post them. However, it's much too late because the deadline was Monday. There are some rules about posts, essentially 12pt legible font, double spaced, twenty pages max. You also need a header and there is a template you can download and use on the Rough Draft Meetup site under More->Files. All that said, if you email me [not from the meetup site] at [masked], I can return the email with a copy of the blurb I always send out prior to the due date.

We'd love to have you at our meeting. Hopefully, you will have your car for the Last Saturday meeting. Please email me with any questions you might have.

I just determined that it will take me more than two hours to get there are public transportation. Anybody driving down 5? I can be at Tukwila or Seatac.

If not... it's only 40 minutes by car but I loaned my car to my son to go to work tomorrow. :(

    Where is the Wiki?

    I realize I am late.

I will submit a short chapter rather than the whole shebang!

    It is bevlockhart/wordpress.com
