Second Saturday of the Month Writers' Critique Meeting

*** Please note the new hours for the Saturday meetup! We'll meeting from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM  starting in March, 2013***

We're meeting at the 208 Garfield cafe/pub/wine bar (at Garfield Books), just off Pacific Ave. in the Parkland neighborhood. From I-5, take exit 127 to Hwy 512, then exit at Pacific Ave. Take a right at the top of the off-ramp. You can take a right turn onto Garfield St. - the Farelli's pizza on the corner is a good landmark - or take the next right to park in the lot.

Current members with work for critique should post it to the wiki no later than Wednesday evening (please try to limit submissions to around 20 pages, 12 pt. readable type, double-spaced. This is to help reduce the strain on fellow members' eyeballs & their pocketbooks).

*** Re: extra copies. If you are a writer with work for critique, bringing a extra copies for new members. .

Kris: Actually, you're allowed to submit for the first meeting, but I have to post it for you. It's too late for this meeting though. If you want to read this meeting's papers, though, please send me an email at everett@morphicmolecules. org and I will send them to you in a zip file later today.

Just want to make sure I understand the rules correctly. At the first meeting, I read & critique everyone else's work. Then I am allowed to post my own work for the second meeting I attend, correct?

[In the nature of Burma Shave Road signs]

    Spring has sprung
    Grass has rizzed
    The sun doth shine
    Then clouds return
    To bring more rain.
