We're meeting at the 208 Garfield cafe/pub/wine bar (at Garfield Books), just off Pacific Ave. in the Parkland neighborhood. From I-5, take exit 127 to Hwy 512, then exit at Pacific Ave. Take a right at the top of the off-ramp.
A good landmark is Ferrelli's Pizza on the corner of Pacific and Garfield. From there you have three choices:
- Take a right turn onto Garfield St. before you pass the Pizza. Don't go far or fast. Look left for the Scandinavian Shop and turn left into the driveway. If you turn into the next one, you will be in the Auto tag renewal lot. This is the entry to the parking lot, but you will want to turn left again and head towards the other side where you will find the entrance to the PLU book store.
- Continue past Garfield and Ferrelli's and turn right onto the next little street. From there, turn right into the parking lot.
- Park on Garfield St. or thereabouts and approach the bookstore on foot.
Please note: You can get to the cafe either through the bookstore (walk to the other end) or you can enter the cafe from a door on Pacific Ave. The cafe opens earlier than the bookstore, so you may not be able to use the bookstore entrance. There is are rear door to the cafe near the parking lot but it is EXIT ONLY. If the bookstore is closed, walk around to the front and exit on Pacific Ave.
Another note: Please come a little early to get your beverage. If you're new, they have great pastries, quiche, and other goodies.

Current members with work for critique should post it to the Wiki no later than Thursday evening. Please use a legible font, 11-12 pt., 1-1/2 to double space with a 1" margin.
New members with work for critique should email it as an attachment to [masked], and I will post it for you.
Tell us with a comment the title of the work and what kind of critique you would like; e.g. over all feeling, flow, grammar, etc.
You may bring SHORT selections to the MeetUp, but they will be considered on a time available basis so these have some likelihood of being read only at a sparsely attended meeting.
If you submit work for critique, please bring a few extra copies for newbies. If you are not new, please download a print a copy from the Wiki. I will NOT bring extra copies.
