This is a place to share ideas and stories with other authors. It is open to writers of all experience and skill levels.

We're looking for writers who want to help each other master the craft of writing and editing. Our emphasis is narrative (plot, pacing, character, description), which is most typically associated with prose writing (fiction and non-fiction)- but don't feel limited by labels. Writers who work in any style (drama, poetry, comic books) are also welcome in our group.

Members should be committed to writing, learning, and to being a contributing member of the group. That means coming to meetings prepared with thoughtful, constructive feedback on work submitted for formal critiques, sharing work with others, and having a positive attitude- so the group can maintain a mutually supportive environment that will help all of us achieve our individual goals.

We know that sharing your work can be scary- so, we'll understand if you want to check out us out before you commit to anything. But after your first meeting, we ask that you bring at least at least a few pages of new work to share (either fresh copy, or a new draft of previously-shared writing) at each meeting you attend.
