The Tai Chi Association of Colorado Springs teaches to beginner and intermediate students the Yang Cheng Fu Large Frame of Yang Style Tai Chi,
Michael teaches Imperial Yang Family Tai Chi. This includes the Yang Cheng Fu Long Form (also known as the 108 form or the public form) methods of Yang Jian Hou, son of Yang Family Tai Chi creator Yang Lu Chan; Middle Frame of Yang Family Tai Chi (also known as Old Six Roads), as it was taught to him by his Master Wei Xilan and his martial uncle Dr. John Fung, disciple of Master Wei Shuren
This structured system includes Jibengong (basic skill training); Kaimengong (gate opening methods), Forms; Tai Chi Neigong; and more — for both health and self-defense. The main emphasis is harmonizing Shen, Yi, and Qi to nourish the body and mind for developing a healthy vitality, as well as for learning a functional and effective self-defense system.
