The Taichi Life is the group for you to know what is the Taichi and give the chance to experience it. 

We are trying to let western people know Taichi as the wonderful exercise for health and share the training experience. There are some masters of Taichi in Seoul but they are not very fluent in English. so we keep on good terms with them and help each other with English language and Taichi knowledge. 

Taichi is not only for young people but also for old people. Taichi is the mental and physical training method as well as the traditional martial arts. Also, It is a good way to understand Northeastern Asian philosophy and culture. 

* What is Taichi ? 

- Taichi is a practice and study for realizing the theory of Taichi & Yin Yang through the body. 

- It is the culmination of the Northeast Asian culture in which I-ching, oriental medical science, the philosophy of Laotzu, Qigong and martial arts are fused into the single principle of Taichi & Yin Yang 

- Entitled “Moving Zen," the traditional martial art Taichi is a mental and physical training method that is practised by 2~300 million people all over the world.

 -The principle of Taichi is to practise the logic of Taichi & Yin Yang and the technique of controlling strong force with smaller strength. Based on this, six Taichi schools have been developed: Chen, Wu, Yang, Wu, Sun and Hulei. Each style has a distinctive characteristic that can be applied according to personal preference or purpose of training.

* Aims of Taichi

- Qigong is an ancient treatment method for awakening healing power and rejuvenation through practising special movements combined with breathing and internal energy. 

- As a method for health and longevity, it has been studied and developed for thousands of years descending up to this day.
