Dog Walk @ Brecksville Reservation

Part of the Cleveland Metropark events:

This hike is led by a naturalist.

Bring your K-9 companion on a hike through the hills of Brecksville Reservation. Dogs must be well-mannered and on an 8 ft. leash.

1 – 2:30 p.m. Meet in front of the Brecksville Nature Center.

Terrain: hills, 2.5 – 3 miles

Wear proper footwear.

There will be a large parking lot off of Chippewa Creek Drive on the right if you are coming off of 82.  Please park there. There will be a paved trail that will lead you to the Nature Center.

Use GPS, OnStar or Google maps to help get you there.

We were late and tried to find you (2 people said we were headed in the right direction) but there were too many forks in the trail. We had a nice, hot walk anyway. We needed Banzai to bark!!

Sorry you missed us Julie. The naturalist was leading the hike, promptly had us leave at 1:00. Banzai was surprising quiet because, for once, there was another dog louder than he. I am glad you still went on a walk. See you on the next hike.

Yes. It is policy at all the parks. I have seen rangers around and they will ticket you if they see your dog off leash.
