I didn't go to the meetup as I had planned earlier. Kobe, my Chow, slipped out of his collar, and was on the run for almost 2 hours. He seemed tired after being caught so I passed on the hike. Instead, I took Kobe to my Amateur Radio Club house; Kobe napped on the floor and I worked a club contest event.
I will probably go to some other event.

Hey Collen. Sorry Zeek and I were no shows. I worked until 4a and went to bed at 5a. I had 2 hockey games yesterday so I got my exercise . We will hopefully make it to the next one. Thanks again.

Because of the rain, please wear appropriate shoes with good treads (hiking boots). The trails will be muddy and there are tree roots sticking out everywhere. Dress for the weather. Bring any rain gear if a pop up shower happens. Please be on time. Thank you.

Sorry for my Brain Freeze... I saw the map, and have a good Idea where it is & how far... If "Bella" and myself aren't still tired from our hike at Moraine State Park tomorrow, I will surely try to make the hike! Either way I look forward to meeting Some good people! PEACE!

I am working a bicycle race event with my Amateur Radio club in the morning and I think I will be done in time to leave and drive to BNR. This will be our first long distance walk. Due to bad knees and sometimes back pain I haven't walked long distances either. I think I will be okay though and hopefully Kobe will be tired on the trip home.

Are the hills gradual or steep? How difficult is the hike?

Please contact the Brecksville Nature Center for this information. The number is displayed in the description. All information, the trails that are picked and the map shown are given on that day. This is a naturalist led hike so it is up to them where we will be hiking.

My pack can't do five miles. But we will come along for about a mile or so. That's usually when they quit on me.
