Take A Hike!

Welcome back!  Our first hike of the year will be to Fort Lee Historic Park in Fort Lee.   Starting off this year with an easier walk (check out the museum afterwards) and some great views.

General info: “Take A Hike!” is a hiking group for families with children with special needs and/or autistic spectrum disorders.   We work together to foster an appreciation in nature and encourage friendship by engaging in numerous nature walks or hikes throughout the year, while maintaining a relaxed and supportive social environment.    Easy local hikes/walks are planned once a month for the spring and fall.

Happy trails! Debra

I am going to try to make it but I am a big maybe at this point. My son has some rescheduled therapy this am so it depends on howling it goes. I look forward to hopefully hiking with this group soon!

No worries! Totally understand. When you guys have time, I strongly recommend checking this place out. I think your son would like it. Hope to see you soon:)

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
