Some friends and I are going to hike to the Indian Ruins from Rogers trough Trailhead Sunday.
This should be a beautiful hike after the rain on Sat. It is a nice hike through the forest along a stream to some nicely preserved ruins and a wide forested basin. This is in the eastern supes so it is a bit higher there and there is more water and forest.
I seem to remember it is about 8 miles R/T. It is not too tough, and I will not be in a hurry, so beginners are welcome.
This involves a drive on some dirt roads to get to the trailhead. Sometimes they can get a bit rough. Because of the rain, I am restricting this to 4wd vehicles only. Right now we have two vehicles that hold 10 people total, so we have that covered.
Bring a jacket, water, and lunch. Plan on all day because of the drive.
I am restricting this to 9 people, because that is enough for me.
