Trick or Treat Special - Live Animals of the Night and Owl Release - Lake Pleasant

Lake Pleasant Regional Park

This is truly a trick or treat special! Join us between 3PM and 5PM at the Lake Pleasant Visitor Center for a look at some live animals of the night. The knowledgeable staff at Adobe Mountain Wildlife Center will share fun information about these animals of the dark. At 5:30 PM these fine folks will release into the wild night air an owl that has been rehabilitated from an earlier injury. Come spend the night with some fun creatures of the night, and you may want to stick around for the "Not So Scary Flashlight Hike" at 7PM!

The Not So Scary Flashlight Hike - Lake Pleasant

Lake Pleasant Regional Park

Want to do a very fun flashlight hike? Then come on out for a "Not So Scary Flashlight Hike" at Lake Pleasant. Last year we saw over 70 kids and parents, walking on our haunted trail. Last year's trail was a wooded, naturally spooky area with a few added tricks and treats. This year’s trail should be as much fun, with not being as scary...maybe. A not one to miss for the adventurous kid in all of us. This moderate hike is about a mile, and is good for most people. Not advised for children under 7 and adults with limited mobility. Bring a flashlight. You might get scared, you might scream, but you will seek the hidden treasure to split with all who make the destination!
