Whats Your Problem? #2

This meetup will also be in entirely in English, and will focus on an important issue covered in one of the first meetups - "Finding the right problems to solve by researching a market via customer development"

We are happy to host two excellent dudes and entrepreneurs (Eytan for the second time) who will share their own fascinating story and way of finding the right problems to focus on.

Do you have a market? - Sharing my research experiences (David Gab Goldenberg)

As an entrepreneur you may have an idea, but do you have a market? And do you know who exactly it is? We often get excited by our ideas and forget to properly research whether there's a market for our product, resulting in "cool" products that no one wants.

Rather than skip this important stage, or try to wing it with just a landing page and a call to action, come find out how to properly research your market using the Lean Startup's key tools - customer interviews, surveys, socializing and Excel (plus Facebook and Mechanical Turk).

Hear from fellow entrepreneur Gab Goldenberg about his experience applying lean principles to make a better matchmaking (shidduch) service, and how he's dealing with the 7 hour time difference vs North America. If you want to launch a product to the US or Canada, this will likely benefit you enormously.

How I raised money and got paying customers without writing a line of code (Eytan Levit)

Eytan is coming back again with the story behind the beginning of Yoovi (this time in English). How Eytan used techniques he learned in the book "Running Lean" to find a painful problem to solve, and how it helped me to get paying users early on and raise funding, without writing a line of code.

This will be the last time Eytan gives this lecture, and will soon start sharing the lessons he learned from after raising money to launching Yoovi.

    hey guys,

Look forward to meeting and networking with you :). If anyone's interested, I'm looking to find a partner to create a better Jewish matchmaking service. (Yes, I know there's lots of competition and I think there's room to improve a lot by using lean to better understand the market.) Happy to discuss it more with you in person, what I've learnt, why I want to do this etc. And I'd love to hear if any of you are interested in doing this with me - especially if you're passionate about helping the Jewish people :). So please get in touch either virtually or in person tomorrow :). You can also tweet me @GabGoldenberg .
