Part I - About Toastmasters                                                                                                                                                   Part II - What to expect at each meeting

Part I:                                                                                                                                                                                      Looking to develop speaking and leadership skills? Ace a job interview? Ignite your career?

This year, Raleigh Talkmasters wants to help you achieve your challenge. Whether that challenge is leadership skills, getting a new job or just igniting your career. We hope to help you #AchieveYourChallenge this year!

Toastmasters International is a world leader in communication and leadership development. Our membership is 292,000 strong. These members improve their speaking and leadership skills by attending one of the 14,350 clubs in 122 countries that make up our global network of meeting locations.

A Toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their speaking and leadership skills in a no-pressure atmosphere. We are all here to practice.

There is no instructor in a Toastmasters meeting. Instead, members evaluate one another’s presentations. This feedback process is a key part of the program’s success.

We meet every Thursday morning at 7:15 a.m. in the Howard Perry & Walston Real Estate School
3801 Wake Forest Rd, Raleigh, 27609.

We are an open club and encourage prospective members to visit & join us for coffee afterward at Deja Brew.

Part II - the average meeting has a turn out of 12-15 members. Each meeting runs according to an Agenda that is prepared a month in advance, so don't worry! However, you will be given a brief opportunity during the meeting to introduce yourself to the group. For additional speaking you will have the chance to volunteer for Table Topics after you observe what it is.

Upon arriving at the meeting, you will be greeted and connected with a member to sit with if you'd like to do so.
