The Tall Club of North Carolina is a not-for profit social organization for Tall adults 21 years and older. Tall clubs throughout the world are not-for-profit organizations that serve as social vehicles for "talls" to network, share experiences, and more importantly, have fun! They also serve to promote tall awareness and advocate for concerns that affect tall people, as well as to promote fun & friendships among tall adults through our monthly meet & greets, dances, travel, parties, concerts, movies & more.
We are a member club of Tall Clubs International (TCI). Our members automatically become members of TCI and may attend weekend-long events sponsored by others of the several dozen TCI member clubs throughout the US and Canada, as well as the annual week long TCI Convention.
Joining our meetup group gives you access to our calendar and some of our events, but does not make you a member of our club. However, we would love to have you join. Dues are only $20 per year and entitles you to membership in TCI and to all the other privileges of membership in TCNC. You can find our application form here on our meetup site under More > Files at the top of the page. At most events, we ask non-members for $5 in order to help cover our expenses. And it is only fair to dues paying members that non-members who attend our events pay their fair share.
Women must be 5'10 inches tall, and men 6'2 inches tall to join the club, however ALL heights are welcome to attend our many "open" events such as our monthly meet & greets held on the second Friday of each month at the Brickhouse on Hillsborough St right across from Meredith College.
