RSVP if you know you can attend

Kansas City Skylin...

Post #: 8
We have found that in the years our group has been on Meetup, people determine whether to attend an event by how many people have RSVPd. Therefore, we would like to keep an accurate count.

Generally, we ask that if you have RSVPd for an event and later find that you can't make it, please take a moment to come back and change your response to "No." It is also especially critical when we have an event that has a head count limitation. This way, someone on the waiting list who really wants to attend can.

Our policy is that if someone RSVPs to two events and doesn't show up to either one, we remove that person from our group. We welcome all tall people to become part of our group. So, our goal is not to discourage people from RSVPing, but to maintain the integrity of our group.
