I wouldn't be able to provide housing but if she is a licensed clinical social worker, the agency that I work for is always looking for new clinicians. Let me know if you'd like me to pass along that information.

Hello ladies, One of our members is need of emergency assistance. Due to a series of very unfortunate circumstances, this member, who is new to the area, will be homeless in two weeks unless she can find temporary housing. Just one of the unfortunate circumstances is a job that she thought she had, that was withdrawn two days before she was scheduled to start. Our member has several years experience in the clinical social work field and has her masters in social work. Her car broke down several weeks ago leaving her without any transportation. Although I work with the homeless, our clientele are veterans, and I have exhausted all of my known resources that can assist her with temporary housing (at least 3 months until she is financially stable). We are fortunate in that we have over 190 members in our group, so I'm reaching out to you for help. The organization I work for believes in the "housing first" model, meaning that although employment will help a person become financially stable,if the person does not have a safe environment to sleep, change clothes, and just "exhale", employment first can be moot point. If you, or if you know of anyone, that has a spare bedroom for our member to stay on a short term basis (at least 3 months) until she can secure a job, which she will, PLEASE contact me immediately at (813) 263-2152. I'm assisting her on the employment end but I do not want to see our member homeless or staying at the salvation army. Thank you, ~Andrea
