Architecture of a Large Real-World App

We'll be doing a two-part meetup.

One part will be Kevin D. Wolf sharing his experiences and architecture of a real-world app with dozens of screens and SQLite tables.

The second part is still open for volunteers. If nobody steps up, I'll pick some topic and present a half-length tutorial on it.

I'll add more details later.

Note that a previously scheduled part of this meetup, a Google Glass demo, has been postponed to a future meetup.

Very good presentation. Only issue was it started late; otherwise, the event went well but actually ran out of time.

The presenter Kevin was awesome. He is great presenter. Kept good pace and handled questions well. Had a lot of knowledge to share.

Can any age that is interested in android development attend the meetings ? I'm a high school student, been into Android Mobile App Development for 2 years so far.

Especially 2 years worth of experience. I know plenty of good android devs who've only been at it for barely 6 months and they still manage to teach me things. Kind of like how Adobe won't hire anyone who claims to be a Photoshop expert - the devs of the software barely know 10% of their own product - according to them anyway.

I am an android developer not too much experience in android development and i would like to contribute to the glass project as a developer. I live in India so are their any possibilities that I can join the development team?

I could do a demo of the new Google Glass headset that devs can build apps for. I have been selected as one of the first #GlassExplorers in the US and have the headset in-hand and ready to demo to those in attendance.

The Wi-Fi at Wave us usually excellent. (Over the past 4 months I've been meeting and working with people there several days a week.)

Yes I remember it being quite powerful at the Home Page Throwdown an Elmo or video feed to project the image on Glass handset would greatly benefit demo ... The Glass Development Kit (GDK) is being readied by Google for now apps can be written on Android 4.0 ...

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
