Seafood and Funky Tunes Crawl this Saturday

"Ich and the Booyahs" are playing at Sea Hags on Saturday, May 31st, 7-11pm. (You can find them on YouTube, and they look like a pretty cool group...) Dinner first seems to be in order, but having tried virtually everything already on Sea Hags menu, I suggest trying Snappers in St. Pete Beach (2 miles south) instead. They do NOT take reservations at Snappers, so we'll have to be flexible, potentially sitting at 4-tops spaced around the restaurant. The menu (http://snappersseagrill.com/index.php) looks great, and they say they usually have 10-12 items on the Early Bird (4-5pm) menu. Since I can't make reservations, there is no attendance cap; we'll be winging it and will assemble at the door at Snappers to be seated. After dinner, we'll head up to Sea Hags for some fun music, and we can always crawl north from there to Ricky T's, Gator's, or even Mahuffer's (classic dive in Indian Shores), if we want...

Sorry not to make Sea Hags -- it started raining heavily as I drove towards Blind Pass and could see the heavy rain cloud over the area so decided to come home instead. Maybe next time!

Great food and conversation at Snapper's and enjoyed everyone.

A friend advised that Snappers is SUPER-good and always packed, so I moved the time up to early bird, 4:30p.m., to be sure we can get in and get dinner without too much of a wait. If that's too early for those who have signed up, you can join us later or just meet us at Sea Hags and eat there. Hope that's ok with everyone!

hey susan if we aren't eating dinner till 630 do you think we'll have a problem getting a table at sea hags for the music?

That sounds like a good argument to go for the early bird menu at Snappers! I honestly don't know how full Sea Hags will be; they don't take reservations for tables in the lounge. Thanks for asking. And remember: I'm Lazy, so we'll have fun, but you'll have to be patient with my lazy ways... and go with the flow...
