John Rourke demoed some fishing lures that sound like yummy food! These are powered by magnesium and copper, which when submersed in water (hence the jar) create a battery that powers the whole thing! It uses a PIC processor and a Piezo transducer for the sound output. It has a DC/DC converter to boost the voltage from the magnesium/copper battery and stores energy in a capacitor to drive the Piezo. He hopes to sell these for $9.99.
