Each week on Thursday, we invite you to come by Casa Seranita--bring a dish if you can, don't worry if you can't. We will always have enough food to share, along with homesteading skills such as: food preservation, fermentation, vegan cooking, gluten-free lifestyle, organic gardening, permaculture, and MORE.

We are now open for HOMESCHOOLERS in the afternoon--please bring the kids after noon, and we will start working on the "KinderGarden" after picnic lunch!  =)

DONATIONS of materials (or money--we won;t turn that down, either) ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!

The current list of needed items for the garden is:

• kid-sized garden tools

• More gutters

• Veggie & legume starts

• fruit & nut trees

• berry bushes

• bamboo (freshly cut, green, 4 stalks 20-30ft long)

• humacelium (that's humans who behave like mycelium, working underground through unseen networks to blossom suddenly into view)

• Human Resources:

•  weeding

•  digging irrigation

•  cataloging tools

•  finishing the rainbarrel stand

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
