Is there really a free lunch?

Sharon and I have had good results with the advice we've gotten from Dr. James J Barile, PhD.  He is giving a talk this coming Saturday entitled, "Would you like to know what, and why people get sick?"  Lunch is on him, but you need to call for a reservation,[masked]-9355.  Ask to sit at the Sailing Meetup table and/or tell them Steve referred you.

Naturally this is totally optional event, but it may be a good chance for some of our sailing group to meet and greet and it's free except for the courtesy of listening to his talk.

That sounds like it would be informative and interesting. Unfortunately I will not be attending as my grandmothers 95th birthday is that weekend and I have family in town.

    Colin,
Anyone in sales has put on a free lunch meeting. It is an easy way to get interested / potential clients together and provide factual information about your product.
Wish I could attend, going out of town this weekend.

I like the way Margie put it...."Whats his story" ??What is his pitch? I mean does he have his own line of products or "a system" or a book? And that was a tacky comment Colin! Free lunches don't get the sale. Its the intellectual stimulation we are looking for!

Seriously, at that point we were still trying to find out about his actual specialty . You know I love you Colin I understand better now, and thank you so much!!!!

Dr. Jim wrote a book titled, "Why didn't someone tell me sooner" about his sick body until age 27. He advises people through alternative modalities on how to improve their health. If you go to his office for an evaluation, there is a fee.

Back in the day, I sold PCs to doctors with a legal-page length flyer that said “Free Lunch!” On me, of course. Sold many systems. For just a few years. Only took a doctor (my partner) to lunch once. Guess sexy women and free lunches still sells.

How long is his talk? What's his pitch?

The talk is about an hour. The piltch is to have people visit his office for an evaluation and perhaps wholeistic care.
