You must reserve a seat by calling the Foundation. Reserve space on charter - call Cap'n Joseph now at[masked]-0559. Half day cruises generally cost as much a $75 so please be generous.

Parking in front. Restrooms by dock. Atlantis supplies water, sodas and fresh fruit. Please bring food to share and anything else you would like that's legal.

First time out? See http://www.meetup.com/Tampa-Bay-Sailing/pages/Things_New_Sailors_Should_Know/

A worthy cause! An excellent value. Shorter charters on slow monohulls in downtown Tampa are THREE the cost! Beautiful location with charming view of boats, houses, river, sound, Keys, beaches and Gulf.

This is  a teaching foundation, so they encourage people to lend a hand and try the helm - many charters say they do this, but they don't encourage it. Greta way to get the feel of a larger boat.

I suggest everyone arrive "Early" like 9AM. The address & map look good, about a 1/2 mile West on Anclote rd off US19, "Bell Harbor Marina" on left. Just look for a "Big White 2-Masted Sailboat" Atlantis V in a slip, shouldn't be too hard to find. Always carpool if you can.

I think the "a $75 so please be generous" is preventing signups.
I suggest $25. would fill the boat, take lots of pix, spread the word of a fun cruise, & take it from there.
Can you anchor for lunch in a "Snorkle spot"?
The $75 would probably fill the boat "Valentines Day"!
