Tampa Bay Hospice Cup (Includes Morgan Invasion)

We have a bunch of folks signed up for the Hospice Cup already & I'm sure we'll have a bunch more as we get closer to the event.

Boats, Crew & Landlubbers are invited to join one of the biggest & most fun events of the year.

Support a fantastic cause with categories for every kind of boat and skill level with shore events for those who are not sailing.

The Morgan Invasion has grown and morphed to include all kinds of sailboats in multiple classes, from serious racers to the "just-for-fun" class for more casual participants.

There is something for everyone from testing your boat and sailing skills, just getting out on the water or watching from dry land to join in the fun.

I will be organizing a group of boats from Tampa Sailing Squadron to go this event. Please contact me for specific details.

Activities begin on Friday evening with registration, skippers' meeting and a talk by Charley Morgan himself. Boats will probably be coming in to DIYC during the week and will likely stay for the weekend. More information will be provided as it is made available. Registration, NOR, & other information please check out the link below:

Hi, Nick! I crewed on a Morgan 44 last year. My day started at 8am and the party was going strong when I left DIYC at 8pm. It is a FUN, FUN, FUN day, and a great cause. I will be there again this year, crewing on a Just For Fun boat.

Search mfg or model sometimes, and at least 1 foot shorter.
    Creekmore 30 had 3 models, 1964 with a -1, 1982 with a -2 and -3 Center Board.

Lee only built two of these then destroyed the mold. The other is still in Miami. Stubby was his own MORC boat & the two he did build are not the same. He still all the plans etc from when he built her. The biggest issue is ballast whether its 4k lbs or 6k lbs - Lee think its the latter but the guy I bought her fro said its the former. That puts into question what he told me about displacement too. I just need to ask Lee.

Nick, I did not see "Stubby" signed up, out of the 38-boats. We need "Captains"! Who needs to get their boat ready & sailing?
There's lots crew available for cleaning, rigging, washing, waxxing, polishing, hoisting flags, hoisting sail, rolling main covers, coiling line, and maybe even bringing gourmet food & drink!

Please, I need a phone call from someone to learn more. [masked] or mobile[masked]-3038. 75' was the largest I've sailed. I want to sail. If anyone wants an experienced sailor to sail, race, cruise or needs help with something, just call. My schedule is 90% open.

Can someone tell me more about this? I would love to sail, casually or racing, but don't know anyone with a boat. Should I be buying a ticket for something? How does it work?
    Thanks.

Hello to all sailing and hospice fans. Such a great cause and with this wonderful format. Let's bring in those sunny days and winds for the sailboats. Please keep me in mind as a crew member on a sailboat! See you there...
